For the bread of worth untold

Freely given in thy Communion,

Wonderful a thousandfold,

Given to-day in loving bounty

More than my poor heart can hold.

2. Make thou of my soul an orchard

Quickened Into fruitfulness;

Come, 0 come, life-giving Manna,

Making glad my wilderness:
