INTRODUCTION
Today is the first Sunday of the year. It is our prayer that the Lord Almighty will manifest Himself for our physical and spiritual benefit throughout the year in Jesus name.
Literarily, “Revelation” means an
uncovering, removal of the veil, and disclosure of what was previously
unknown. Revelation of God is His manifestation to humankind. All humankind’s
knowledge of God comes by way of revelation. From the creation story till now,
God in one way or the other revealed Himself to humans in many various ways
(Heb. 1:1-3). The revelation of God refuted the claim of the Deists that God
never intervenes in human affairs. We see clearly in Genesis 15:1-7 how God
revealed his plan to Abraham. God’s revelation to humankind includes His choice
for earthly rulers and His own reign as the best and everlasting.

3. According to Daniel 2:16-19, how can we
receive God’s revelation?

3:24-28 to convince the Deists that God consistently intervenes in human
affairs?
CONCLUSION
Modern thought often questions the possibility and reality of God’s revelation to man. Biblical account affirms the reality through various God’s interventions in human affairs.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: By God alone can God be known.

many different ways to our fathers through the prophets, in visions, dreams,
and even face to face, telling them little by little about his plans.”
