Verse 1

Obim, teta, so anyanwu

Je ozi-gi nk'ubọchi ta;

Rap'ume-ngwu, bilie n'onu,

Kpe ekpere ututu-gi.

Verse 2

Teta, obim, welie onwe-i

Soro ndi-m'ozi n'olu-ha:

Ndi nabu abu n'abali,

Neto Eze ebigh-ebi.

Verse 3

Nekwu ezi'okwu mgbe nile,

K'ako-n'uche-gi di ọcha;

Anya Chineke nahuzu

Ihe-nzuzọ dum nke ndu-gi.

Verse 4

Ka m' to Gi, Onye cheberem

We tute ndum mgbe m'no n'ura;

Kwe, mgbe m'gesi n'onwu bilie,

Ka m'keta ndu ebigh-ebi.

Verse 5

Biko, nedum n'ubọchi ta,

N'okwu, n'uche, n'omume nkem;

Ka ike nile di nimem

Jiko n'otu n'ito nani I.

Verse 6

To Chineke, Onye-ngọzi;

To Ya, ihe nile n'uwa;

To Ya, usu nile nk'igwé;

To Nna, n'Ọkpara, na Mọ Nsọ.
