Pur'ime onye-njọ nk'uwa?
Gi, onye ndi-m'ozi neto,
Nk'ebube-Ya nenwu mgbe dum?

Ihere Jisus mem? Enyim
Nke nenyem olil'any'igwé?
E-e! iherem gabu nka,
N'adighm asopur'aha-Ya!

Ihere Jisus mem? Ehe,
Ma m'nwegh njọ nachọ nsachapu!
M'obu akwa, n'egwu, na nkpa,
M'obi nachọ nzọputa!

Rue og'ahu inya isim
Gabu n'Onye-nzọtam nwurum!
Ka nka buru ebube nkem,
N'iherem emegh Onye-nwem! Amen.
