TEXT: 1 John 5:13-15
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

INTRODUCTION TEXT
John makes it clear that there must be a connection to the source of answers to prayer and this comes through believing consistently m the name of Jesus. The foundational result is eternally released to those who believe. This channel produces the confidence to ask in prayer correctly. Prayers are heard when they are according to God's will; again, remaining in Him brings the answer.
So, there should be consistency in believing, praying according to God's will and expecting answers Do you wonder why your prayers are not answered? check properly your connection to God and how you ask. Also your ability to remain in the will of God enables your prayers to be answered. Do not shift from God's will when you are expecting answers to prayers because the answer may miss you or you may miss the answer. Your prayer can be answered if you are well positioned in Him (Heb. 11:6).
Prayer: Lord please help me to position myself correctly for answered prayers. Amen.
