to thee, Christ, King and Redeemer,
As when children of old sang their

Glorious offspring of David,
Thou that approachest as King, blest
ln the name of the Lord.
Glory and honour, etc.

heavenly armies are singing;
'Glory to thee upon earthly men and
creation reply,
Glory and honour. etc.
4. Bearing their branches of palm,
the Hebrews crowded to greet
thee;
we with our prayers and our hymns
now to thy presence draw nigh.
Glory and honour. etc.
5. They came to utter thy praise as
thou wentest thy way to thy
Passion:
We to the King on his throne lift up
our jubilant hymn.
Glory and honour. etc.
6. Thou didst rejoice in their praise;
may ours too by thee be accepted.
Gracious and merciful King, who in
all goodness art pleased.
