Emeriwo onwu, emegh'igwé ta.
Onye nwuru di ndu, Ez'ebigh-ebi!
Ihe dum ekere to Ony'okike!

Uwa, nekwuputa olu Eze-ayi,
Na onyiny'ọma nile Ọ nyere ayi;
Ohia na ozara nekwuputa, si
N'ahuhu-ya ebie, Ọ meriw'onwu.

Onye-ngbaputa-ayi, Onye nenye ndu,
Gi si n'igwé leta madu dar'ada;
Otu Ọkpara-Nna, Onye b'Ez'okwu,
Onye ghoro madu k'Ọ we zọput'ayi.

Gi, Onye b'isi-ndu, I nwu-kwa-r'anwu,
Zor'uz'ochichiri, gosi kwa ike;
